On June 28, 1919, the Treaty of Versailles, France, is signed. This Treaty establishes the conditions imposed on Germany defeated in the First World War. At the end of a negotiation in which only the winners are represented: France, England, the United States and Italy, the conditions of peace are established. The Treaty of Versailles forces Germany to pay heavy compensation to the victors, especially France, is prohibited from having an army, loses territories creating a climate of misery and humiliation.
