Organism - Coggle Diagram
Organism
-
unicellular organisms
bacteria
Bacteria can obtain energy and nutrients by performing photosynthesis, decomposing dead organisms and wastes, or breaking down chemical compounds.
protists
Protist obtain energy from sunlight. Their cells provide food for many other organisms. They also produce oxygen, which is beneficial to many other organisms.
archaea
Most archaea are chemotrophs and take their energy and nutrients from breaking down molecules in their environment. A few species of archaea are photosynthetic and capture the energy of sunlight.
-
multicellular organisms
Multicellular organisms are organisms that have or consist of many cells or more than one cell to perform all vital functions.
