Summative Assessment: Slideshow evaluation of POS: 3. Describe and classify a group of rocks and minerals, based upon the above properties.

Summative Assessment: Students will create a brochure for a "Global Village" that includes information over the course of the two social studies units. Students will be graded with a rubric and this is a creative opportunity for students to showcase what they have learned.

Deep Hope: As students explore mathematical concepts, they will also discover the natural and beautiful order that is set in God’s creation.

Summative Assessment: students will write a one-page paper outlining their learning related to the NGO’s impact on the community supported by data. This connects to the math POS outcome to “Construct, label and interpret bar graphs to solve problems.”
