"WHO IS JOAN MIRO?"
Joan Miró I Ferrà was born in Barcelona on April 20 1893 and passed away on December 25 1983 (Notice the dates :)). He was a Catalan painter, sculptor, and ceramicist who created Cubist paintings (He was friends with Pablo Picasso who popularized that art style).
Joan Miró grew up in a family of artisans. Miró demonstrated a strong love of drawing at an early age, perhaps in keeping with his family's creative enterprise; not particularly inclined toward academics, he described himself as "a very poor student...quiet, rather taciturn, and a dreamer."

Analysis.
It is said that Miro’s characteristic “pictorial indications, biomorphic forms, geometric shapes, and abstracted and semi-abstract” objects influenced a creative movement in many forms of media, ranging from ceramics and engravings to enormous bronze installations. Joans most frequently used elements have to be his simple choices of color and the symbolisms he would add.

Joan Miro Surrealistic Paintings I will take inspiration from:
"HOW I WILL USE JOAN MIRO's PAINTINGS AS INSPIRATION FOR MY OWN PAINTING"
I'm going to create a surrealsitic painting that combines art elements like: Space, Lines, Color and Shapes.
The colors that will be used are: Blue, Yellow, Green and Red which are the some of the most common colors that Joan Miro uses in his paintings.
I'm planning on painting many varied geometric shapes and just getting creative with how I express them/how they will contrast with each other.
