If a women can be responsible of the above roles, her social status will be nearly equal as men
Most women are sold to men for marriage

This is a tradition that my family still follows. However, there are marriage or heritage rules

Nothing really changed
At least in my family, men and women in a family were always equal. The responsibilities in a family is decided by the couple.

Women are usually not expected to work in the family. They are in charge of the household's finance and taking care of children
