Book Clubs
Double-Entry Journals
Vocabulary
Some of you did not do this part because you "couldn't find any new or interesting words." I found new and interesting words in each book so you can too...
Questions
We still need to work on using the Level II or higher question stems to achieve open-ended questions.
Golden Lines
These were interesting - we just need to work on how to respond when a group mate shares their line.
Takeaways
This was the best part of Book Club, in my opinion! High level, interesting, and connections among different books.

Norms & Behaviors
-
Engagement
Did you follow up with questions, or bounce off others' ideas?
No Hogs, No Logs
Did you tend to sit back and let others carry the conversation, or did you dominate, or somewhere in between? How do you think others in your group would answer this about you?
My Notes
-
There seemed to be a rush when I was in the group to move to the next person. Take time to explore the questions and comments made. You are not being graded on the quantity of your talking, but the quality.

Listening
Still need to work on being active listener - not getting up to go the restroom during Book Club, looking the speaker in the eye, and following up with a question or comment rather than silence or "Yeah."
