In "La fonde" Miro used black ink to create a dramatic contrast between the luscious, coarsely textured areas.

I will be using his technique of making paints thicker by adding cornstarch to the acrylic paint. I will be using it to paint the flowers, droplets of moisture, tone and texture of the petals and the stems just like a real flower, which will make the flowers look more realistic and i believe it will truly elevate my piece.

The combination of vivid colors and implication of the symbols he used created a playful and cheerful rhythm in his pieces.

I plan having a background behind the portrait of the girl of a starry night and i will be using the way joan miro draws stars and the moon (as seen in these pictures) to my art piece.
