Causes
The causes of World War I were the assassination of King Francisco José Carlos I and his wife. The person who killed the king was a terrorist from the "Black Hand" group. It was also because Germany was beginning to be a great danger to all of Europe.

The war participants
Two sides took part, the Triple Entente, which was the United Kingdom, France and Russia. The other side was the triple alliance: Germany, Italy and the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Consequences
The aftermath of World War I was that Germany had to pay a lot of money to Europe for the destroyers. Another consequence is that the United States became a major world force. There was a great revolution and crisis in Russia.

The end of war
World War I ended because the United States went to war, the United States had well-trained troops and well-armed. Germany surrendered because the United States entered.

The USA entered the war
The United States entered World War I because Germany shot down a ship with Americans. The first time they shot down a ship where Americans were, the United States warned Germany that if it shot down another ship the United States would attack Germany would join the triple understanding.

Women during the war
In 1914, World War I broke out. For the first time, women were encouraged to do jobs traditionally held by men. The government recognized the importance of the work done by women during the war, and in 1918, women were given the vote.
