While I have indeed have run into a nasty person here and there and I have had encounters with viruses because of my own ineptitude, but I have learned from each experience.

Cons
Scammers, mallwear and trolls are things that plague the internet that we cannot stop
People who you interact with online could be dangerous so be careful to who you make friendships with
The Effect of the Internet on me
The effect of the internet on me I would say is mostly positive.
I’ve met great people, had great experiences and had my happiest moments with people I interact with over the internet, and without it, I would not be the same person I am today.
But it is not all sunshine and rainbows, everything has a darkside too it.
People on the internet are using it for nefarious purposes like making hate groups, using it to scam people and using it to traffic drugs.
I don’t know any people who have used the internet in these nefarious ways.
