God's kingdom is more important than money
different to traditional Jewish teachings that wealth was a sign of God's favour
it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven

money is not evil or 'dirty' in itself, the real danger is the 'love of money' and greed
