Introduction
Joan Miro was born in 1893 and sadly passed away in 1983 (in Spain, Barcelona)
He was a painter, sculptor and ceramist. His art journey began at the age of 7, he later enrolled in an art academy at the age of 19.

My idea for the canvas (my design)
Shapes:
1) Im planning on using the beige with white for the background to make a gradient/ abstract look to make my painting more appealing and eye grabbing,
Colors:
2) for the background i will be using different art techniques for example, the dry brush technique to create effects and a texture look.

3) The color scheme that i will be using in my painting is similar to this specific Joan Miro painting, i will be using blue, red, blue, green, yellow, black and finally white all in the center of my painting for it ti be my main design.
4) with the same colors i will be using the splashing technique on the edges to make it more different and unique.
1ّ) i observed that Joan miro paints a red circle in most of his painting so i wanted to interpret that into my own painting as an artistic touch, i planning on adding it in the corner of my canvas.
2) Another main aspect of my painting is adding irregular/weird shapes specially in the center of the canvas. Im also planning on drawing characters but in a specific and unique art style.
3) I will also be adding regular shapes like triangles, crescent, stars, rectangles around my character.
lines:
1) I will be using various types of lines including curved lines, straight, zigzags etc. i will be using these line in order to create the character (which is the main aspect of my entire art piece). i will also be adding these lines near the edges of the canvas.
Texture :
1) Texture will also be a major role in creating my background. i will create my background with different colors and techniques (abstract )
value:
Elements of art:
The value of a color or hue determines how bright or dark it may be. The easiest way to understand values is to picture them as a scale or gradient from dark to bright. this will definitely be used for my shapes to show contrast, rhythm and balance throughout my art piece (principles of art)
color pencils:
1) i will be using color pencils to scribble on the canvas to add an artistic touch. i will be scribbling it around the edges of the canvas.
