Semi-closed castration
Similar to closed castration but parietal tunic is opened to allow inspection inside parietal tunic (and therefore better ligatures). Regarded as ‘gold standard’

A surgical incision is NOT made through the parietal tunic but usually done in hospital conditions (sterile environment).
