Characteristics: Traditional economy is consumed with customs, traditions, and beliefs. Those who are a part of a traditional economy are most likely to live within a connected family or tribe. Traditional economies mainly focus on agriculture, hunting, fishing, and gathering. Instead of using paper money, a system of trade and bartering is emplaced. The majority of all goods are made for use within the family system and/or tribe (rarely a surplus produce). Many individuals apart of a traditional economy work as farmers.
