Socialism V capitalism
Socialism-Priestly was a strong socialist . Socialism is a political, social, and economic. He worried about other people and their well being
Capitalism is about owners who use people for money instead of actually caring for their health and well being of their people/workers.
Economic divide
The Rich could control the poor people's fate.
They were treated with respect and rich women didn't have as much jobs in the house as they could hire maids. They also did not struggle with Jobs and some of them owned mills.
The Poor struggled with jobs and tried to make money in any way they could. They worked in mills and factories. Some worked as maids. The women had loads of jobs to do around the house whilst some poor men had to work really hard and do overtimes. Some poor people struggled to find jobs.

Women in this time were not respected as people thought of them as weak or that their only job was at the houses looking after children or being married. Women were often shamed for things men wouldn't be. For example Divorce was really frowned upon for women and if they did they would lose their money and children.

industrialization
This shows a time when there was a great divide in society and that many things were divided during these times for example, Gender division, Workers' rights, Class divide, economic divide and others.
This is when not many people had rights and was a very greedy society like the upper class which would control what would happen to the lower classes.
Edwarian
class was still very rigid in Edwardian times and it was thought that the upper classes should never mix with the lower classes as it was a very different time back then
Workers' rights
In 1912 was the start of the Industrial revolution, the average person worked in very bad conditions and had a strong want of power in the western world. Workers who lived in the countryside moved to the city in search of jobs that often required manual labor or intense circuit work.
This was a time were workers were mistreated and make them over work for money and many people didn't have a job left for them. So the people who did work had to put harder effort to provide and they were still treated as subjects or slaves
