People are not good at changing their minds
Even when faced with contradictory evidence, people stick to their initial thoughts or opinions
Exposure to new ideas or concepts
The drive behind consumer behavior
Motivations
Each individual has unique motivations
This is often the main drive behind our actions
Homeostasis
Humans don't like change and neither do our bodies
We seek out activities that return us to normal levels
This is basic human behavior that affects how we consumer products as well
Utilitarian vs. Hedonic
We all have different types of motivations
Some are basic goods for us that are net gains
Others just feel good and provide things that we
want

Often times simple is more likely to make connections with consumers
However, I think complex might have the potential to have a deeper impact for certain audiences
