In the 14th and 15th centuries, a new period called Renaissance took place. The Reanissance meant 'rebirth'. The rebirth of the world of the ancients, the Romans and the Greeks. These civilizations seemed to offer ideas to apply to every aspect of life – education, music, politics, literature, art. The world was in a new era and Italy was the starting point. This period was when the modern age began.
