LOI - 2 - The interdependence of ecosystem within a biome
Food chain -
Food chain is the feeding relationship from 1 organism to another in an ecosystem.
Food web -
A food web is the complex network of food chains in an ecosystem. It links many chains together.
symbiotic relationships -
Symbiotic relationships are between the organisms in which some organisms are harmed and some are helped.
Commensalism
In commensalism, one organism is benefited and the other is neither harmed nor helped. (+/0)
Example - sharks and Remora
Parasitism
In Parasitism one organism is benefited and other is harmed. (+/-)
Example - Humans and Mosquito
Mutualism
In Mutualism both of the organisms are benefited and no one is harmed( +/+)
Example - Bee and flower

Symbiotic relationships
Commensalism
Pond weed and fish are an example of commensalism
Parasitism
Ich and fishes are an example of parasitism.
Mutualism
Green algae and aquatic fungi are an example of mutualism in freshwater biome
