Formation and Conjugation
There are 2 parts of a
subjonctif
sentence. A dependent clause, and a independent clause. Both are separated by the word
que
After the word
que
is where the conjugation for the verb you want comes in place. First, you conjugate that verb with
ils/elles
. For example, finir, conujugated with ils/elles is finissent. Then, you remove the
ENT
at the end of the verb, and add the necessary endings

Negation
Negation just requires you to put
ne
before conjugated verb and
pas
after the conjugated verb

The conjugations above stay the same no matter which subject is used

J’ai peur qu’il ne revienne pas. –
I’m afraid he won’t come back.
Nous voulons qu’elle soit heureuse. –
