Principles
Independence
It is independent to any government or laws in the country so they can help and stay true to their principles.
Voluntary Service
It is a voluntary relief movement not prompted in any way by desire for gain.
Neutrality
The Red Cross may not take sides in hostilities or engage in political, racial, religious, or ideological debates.
Unity
There can be only one Red Cross society in any one country. It must be open to all. It must carry its work throughout its territory.
Impartiality
It makes no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions, they help people without judging and attend the most urgent cases first.
Universality
Al societies have equal status and share equal responsibilities and duties in helping each other.
Humanity
Its purpose is to protect life and health and to make sure there is respect for the person. There is mutual understanding, friendship, cooperation and lasting peace between all people.
IFRC (The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies)
It was founded by Henry Dunant in 1919, their Headquarters are in Geneva, Switzerland
Their mission is to inspire, encourage, facilitate and promote at all times all forms of humanitarian activities by National Societies. Preventing and alleviating human suffering, contributing to the maintenance and promotion of human dignity and peace in the world.

NS (National Society)
As an auxiliary to public authorities, the Georgia Red Cross Society is constantly alert, prepared, and equipped to respond at scale to the difficulties and demands that local communities confront.
They are partnered with the other organizations
Their mission is to effectively respond to disasters, humanitarian crises as well as to other situations of violence.
ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross)

Geneva Convention
They are rules that tell countries at war how to treat wounded and captured enemy forces and enemy civilians.
They were signed in Geneva, Switzerland, by representatives of many countries between 1864 and 1949.
Clara Barton
She was a nurse during the civil war that risked her life to bring supplies and support to soldiers in the field.
In 1889 she founded the American Red Cross
