Types of questions

An interview with some pre-determined questions but new questions are created in response to participants' answers

Questionnaires
A research instrument consisting of questions for the purpose of gathering information from respondents

A technique used to collect data on people's thoughts etc. involves social interaction (unlike questionnaires)

Weaknesses
Participants might be dishonest as they may feel more judged (although sometimes harder to do in an interview - people can see you)
