Carbon cycle
-
It is the process in which carbon atoms continuously travel from the atmosphere to Earth and then back into the atmosphere, carbon is released back into the atmosphere when organisms die, volcanoes erupt, fires ignite, fuels Fossils are burned and through a variety of other mechanisms.
nitrogen cycle
There are five main processes that make up the nitrogen cycle that passes through the biosphere, atmosphere and geosphere: 1- Nitrogen fixation 2- Nitrogen uptake 3- Nitrogen mineralization 4- Nitrification 5- Denitrification.
Inorganic nitrogen pollution in aquatic ecosystems are: 1 acidification of rivers and lakes with low or reduced alkalinity; 2 eutrophication of fresh and marine waters, with the additional problem of toxic algae; and 3 direct toxicity, etc.
oxygen cycle
refers to the movement of oxygen through the atmosphere (air), Biosphere (plants and animals) and the Lithosphere (the earth's crust). ... Processes within the oxygen cycle are considered to be biological or geological and are evaluated as either a source (O2 production) or sink (O2 consumption).
Greenhouse effect The greenhouse effect is a process that occurs when gases in Earth's atmosphere trap the Sun's heat. This process makes Earth much warmer than it would be without an atmosphere. The greenhouse effect is one of the things that makes Earth a comfortable place to live, but if this problem gets wors Earth could go into an overheat causing droughts and poles melt down.
