Climate factors how and why does each factor affect the climate and a photo
Latitude
Why: To identify a certain place on Earth
How: Fake lines that run all the way around the world East and west
Elevation
Why: At higher elevations there are less air molecules to trap the suns heat
:
How: Higher you go the colder it gets
Bodies of water
Why: These bodies of water take long to heat or cool and during winter provide warmth for areas around.
How: The main bodies of water are our oceans the Atlantic Pacific etc.
Ocean currents
Why: It all happens because of the wind and it's patterns
How: All beginning in the polar regions is the cold water flow which moves down toward south America When it reaches this area it heats up. These currents go all the way around the oceans of the world, most are cold currents.
Relief
How: One side of a mountain has higher precipitation than another
Why: Warm moist air comes from the oceans and goes over a mountain it cools down which brings rain on one side and the other is clear skies
Wind and air masses
Why: If these two collide which often happens in Southern american states like Texas and Kansas it creates tornados
How: Warm air comes from the Equator and cold air comes from the polar regions
