Climate Factors: How and why does each factor effect climate and a picture.
Latitude
Why: The North side is colder and the south side is warmer.
PIc:
How: Latitude separates the North and the South
Ocean currents
Why: Because of the climate and the weather changes some currents are warmer or colder then others.
Pic:
How: There are warm and cold ocean currents so if u live beside a cold one it would be colder rather than warmer.
Elevation
Why: At higher elevations there are less air molecules to trap the sun's heat
pic
How: The higher you go the colder it gets.
Bodies of water
Why: bif lakes trap the heat from the summer and then release that heat, this happens because water takes a very long time to heat up or to cool down air currents move the warmth form the lake to the land.

How: living next to the currents can change your temperature
Wind and air masses

Relief
Why: On the top of the mountain it is closer to the earth's atmosphere which means it would be colder and when it's at the bottom of the mountain it is not as close to the atmosphere as the top so it would be warmer. one side of the mountain is dry and the other side is wet because the wet side is tropical.

How: when it is on the top of the mountain it would be colder than if it was at the bottom of the mountain. One side of the mountain is also dry and the other side is w
