Climate Factors: How and why does each factor affect Climate.
Lattitude
Why: There are latitude Lines running across the Earth from East to West. They help people find a place by combining with longitude lines.
How: Latitude lines help you know where something is on a globe.
Ocean Currents
Why: There are two types of currents Cold currents and Warm currents. They go very slowly for one current to travel across the world it would take 1000 YEARS!
How: They are underwater Currents going everywhere across the globe
Elevation
Why: There are less air molecules to trap the suns heat.
How: The higher you are the colder.
Bodys of Water
Why: Water heats and a cools slower than Landmass that creates a Moderate Climate.
How: Body's of Water show the precipitation of the land beside it.
Wind and airmasses
why: When cold air from the Poles and Warm air from the equator meet they get all mixed because the earth is spinning and they create an Airmass.
how: There are things called Wind/Air masses Happening all around us
Relief
why: They track this by the Precipitation on one side of the Mountain
how: Relief A.K.A Mountain Precipitation is measuring the distance between the percentage of rain B]between the highest point and the lowest point of the Mountain.
