FLAT PACK, What is a Flat-Pack?, Benefits, Limitations, Possible solutions…
FLAT PACK
A piece of furniture or other equipment that is sold in pieces packed flat in a box for easy transport and is assembled by the buyer
- Affordability: often people purchase flat pack furnitures is that it's an inexpensive way to decorate rooms and properties. Instead of heavy large, pricey furnitures that occupies each corner of the room, we are opting for cheapness of an item to make homes attractive and simplistic
- Easy transportation: Self-assembling furniture is easy to dismantle and therefore makes transportation less complicated and less expensive.
- Compactness: Its versatility means they’re able to fit into smaller spaces as manufacturers build them to be compact and have sliding features which reduce space. For example, if you have the furniture delivered, but you don’t have enough time to deal with it, there is no problem to leave it in the closest corner and assemble it later.
- Eco- friendly and sustainable: The wood that produces flat pack furnitures are mostly green and resistant
-
- Difficulty for buyer to assemble
- Furniture too plain or simple
Flat pack furnitures!
The wood (chipboard) used in flat pack furniture is eco-friendly and sustainable. It can be recycled even from your regular curbside recycling program.
Habitat pods: habitat pods are designed to provide an instant refuge for native animals left exposed and vulnerable after a bushfire.
Problem
It is determined that the main threat to biodiversity loss is deforestation. The destruction of forests destroys homes, habitats, and food sources for many species. Animals won’t be able to find shelter, water, and food, which will result in animal extinction
