ANADIPLOSIS
definition: repetition of the final words of a sentence or line at the beginning of the next.
example: "Jeddy started in disbelief. "It was here!" It was," I agreed."-page 30
ANAPHORA
definition: the repetition of a word or phrase at the beginning of successive clauses.
examples: "Maybe he knew this was going to happen. Maybe its why he called up David and decided to talk, as a way of getting there, of revisiting the scene now that Jeddy is so sick."-page 37
ANTITHESIS
defintion: A contrast or opposition between two things.
examples: "He didn't really understand what it meant then; now he gets it. "-page 37

definition: Omissions of conjunctions that ordinarily join words or clauses.

EPANLEPSIS
definition: repitition after intervening words
