ANADIPLOSIS
Repetition of the final words of a sentence or line at the beginning of the next.

ANAPHORA
The repetition of a word or phrase at the beginning of successive clauses.

EPANALEPSIS
Repetition after intervening words.

ANTITHESIS
A contrast or opposition between two things.
pg 31 "In here? Naw. It's too shallow for a boat"
ASYNDETON
Omission of conjunctions that ordinarily join words or clauses.
pg 9 "I stalked behind him, eyes on the sand."
EPISTROPHE
The repetition of a word at the end of successive clauses or sentences.
POLYSYNDETON
pg 10 "whiskey, vodka, brandy"
Using conjunctions in close succession, especially where some would usually be omitted.
