Joan Miro Art Techniques
Joan Miro considered his art to be free of anything. He liked to draw surrealistically. He experimented throughout his career with different media like: painting, printmaking, sculptures, ceramics, collage and tapestry.
-
His Art Style was: Surrealism, Modern Art and Dada which is an art style inspired by the child work of Catalan.
-
His style was unique because Miró developed a distinctly symbolic language of simplified, biomorphic, or lifelike, forms.
-
Color in Joan Miro art
He would use red for one of the designs and black for the other. Those were the only two colors used in this series of paintings. Miro, although he only used two colors, and two of the most drab colors, he made some terrific artwork.
-
Famous Joan Miro Art: Some of his famous works are from the 1920s, when, under the influence of the Dadaists, Surrealists, and Paul Klee, Miró painted such “dream pictures” as The Birth of the World (1925).
