Biometrics and Artificial Intelligence
Biometrics are body measurements and calculations related to human characteristics . Biometric identifiers are the distinctive, measurable characteristics used to label and describe individuals. Biometric identifiers are often categorized as physiological characteristics , which are related to the shape of the body
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the ability of a computer or a robot controlled by a computer to do tasks that are usually done by humans because they require human intelligence and discernment
Advantages of AI and biometrics-
1) Helps with the reduction in human error
2) It takes the risks for humans
3) Available all the time
4)Helps with repetitive jobs
5) high security and assurance’’
6) Non transferable
t
ICT vision enhancements- Night vision googles can send images to ICT systems which can process them and enhance them so that the user can make out objects that would otherwise not be seen.
Advantages of enhanced vision
Advantages of Enhanced Vision- 1) enhances your vision
2) helps you see way better
Disadvantages of Enhanced vision- 1) can distort vision
2) it can be very expensive
3)risks of messing up your vision
Vision Enhancement s are defined as any subjects effect which improves one’s ability to perceive the external envirnment through their sense of sight.
Vision Enchancement
Disadvantages of AI and biometrics
1)It makes humans extremely lazy because they have something to do the work for them
2) The cost of these creations are extremely expensive
3) Can lead to the unemployment for humans because if companies are machines to do the work for them then there’s no point in humans
ROBOTICS
Machines , especisally ones programmed by a computer, capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically. A robot can be guided by an external control device,or the control may be embedded within.
Quantum Cryptography
Quantum cryptography is the science of exploiting quantum mechanical properties to perform cryptographic task
Computer Assisted Translation
Computer -aided translation, also referred to as machine-assisted translation or machine-aided human translation, is the use of software to assist a human translator in the translation process
3D Holographic imaging
A 3D hologram is defined as a 3D projection that exists freely in space and is visible to everyone without the need for 3D glasses. Holography is the next stage of photography and conventional film and its three dimensionality creates completely new possibilities for use, such as for product presentation
Virtual Reality
Virtual Reality is a simulated experience that can be similar to or completely different from the real world. Applications of virtual reality include entertainment, education and business
Teacher Comments. There are inconsistencies in the design of your mind map, an improvement would be to use the same size font and either stick to numbered bullet points throughout or just write freely. Some of your explanations are copied from the Internet. Never do this. Always put work into your own words. You have at least made a good effort and you clearly have spent time on the mind map, so overall, it's an improvement on previous work.
