Another example of foreshadowing Bradbury used was the consistency. It's mentioned that the room used to be something crazy and fantastical and different every day, but in the month prior to this story, George and Lydia had found nothing but the same African scene, with the same lions, the same sun, the same feast, yet they'd never been quite able to see what the lions feasted on every day. They'd heard the same screams, over and over, had seen the lions go through the same action of a crazed feast, yet never quite knew what was fully happening.
