Initial conflicts
Social movements, labor unions and peasant organizations that fought for independence

Third World
The Second World consisted of the Soviet Union and its communist allies.
The Third World grouped the poor countries that mainly occupied the southern part of the globe and concentrated the largest population with the fewest resources.
