Tectonic plate Movements
When 2 tectonic plates move towards each other or crash into each other:
Ayaan: Forms an earthquake and forms a mountain
Rivaan: Will form a Tsunami
Nandhika:- Some natural events will occur such as tsunami. We should hide inside a kitchen cupboard. There might be an earthquake and after shocks. We should go outside an open area
Rishi: During an earthquake we should hide under a table.
Hridi: if there is an earthquake, we should move far away from that place.
Vivaan- Move far away from the earthquake place.
Tsukino- Hide under a table.
Nandhika: Never hide in a cupboard or elevator. You will be stuck there. It will be difficult to get out.
When the tectonic plates move away from each other
Tsukin0: the land splits-
Rivaan- Water will fall to the mantle
Nishanth: Land splits, people may fall inside the earth
Nandhika: Lava from under the earth might come to the surface- Volcanic eruption, ocean will be really hot. The physical map of the world will change
Nishanth- Why do tectonic plates move?
When the tectonic plates rub again each other/slide against each other:
Larissa: The ground shook,
Rishi: The ground shifted
Prisha- The ground broke in half, the street twisted
Nandhika- The position of the street changed
Nishanth: The houses in the street might have moved/broken
