The components of eco ecosystem and biome.
Aquatic biome
Marine biome - Oceans & Estuaries
Animals - Humpback whales, turtles, swordfish, octopus, seals, cuttlefish ect
Location - Marine biome is found in 5 main oceans: the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Indian, the Arctic and the Southern ocean.
Temperature - Marine biomes experience an average temperature of 39 degrees Fahrenheit (4 degrees Celsius).
Climate - The marine biome is naturally colder at the South Pole, but as you approach the equator, it becomes warmer.
Floras
seaweed
Kelp
Algae
Sea grass
Phytoplankton
Tape grass
Water depth -The average depth of the ocean in 12,100 feet(3700 meters)
Freshwater biome - Lakes, rivers,ponds
Animals - Duck,reptiles,salamanders,ect
Location - Freshwater biomes are found all around the world. In countries like - South America, Russia, South Africa
Temperature - The temperatures range from 65 °F to 75 °F in the summer and 35 °F to 45 °F in the winter.
Climate - The climate of freshwater biomes is determined by a number of factors including location, season and depth of water. On an average the climate is colder as the water gets deeper.
Floras -
Water lily
Cattails
Willows
Duckweed
Water depth - 4 feet to 4,000 feet(According the water body)
Ecosystem - Ecosystem is a community of living and non- living organisms.
Biotic
Living organisms -Plants and animals
Abiotic
Non living organisms -Soil, air, water, microorganisms, temperature.
A biome is a place where plants and animals live with different temperature/climate
Dessert biome
Aquatic biome
grassland biome
Tundra biome
Rainforest biome
Habitat- A habitat is a place where animals and plants live comfortably.
Grassland biome
Temperate (pairiers)
Temperature - The temperature is usually 4 degrees fahrenheit to 86 degrees fahrenheit.
Location -central North America in the United States, South Africa,Russia, ect
Animals - Wild dogs, lion, swift fox, wolves, wild horses, ect.
Floras -
asters
milkweed
lupines
purple coneflower
Clovers
Sunflowers
Rainfall - 20 - 35 inches of rainfall each year.
Climate -It has hot summers and cold winters
Soil - The soil of the temperate grasslands is fertile and nutrient-rich.
Tropical
Temperature - . The temperature is usually 68 degrees to 86 degrees fahrenheit.
Location - Southern hemisphere(South America, Australia, Africa)
Animals - Tiger, deer, lion, hyna, zebra, ect
Floras -
Purple needle-grass
Blue grama
Buffalo grass
Red oat grass
Rhodes grass
Elephant grass
Lemon grass
Rainfall - Average rainfall is around 70 - 100 inches each year.
Climate - Tropical grasslands have dry and wet seasons that remain warm all the time.
Soil -The soils are very old and low in fertility
