P - uses computer models to explain human coding, doesn't take into account the effect of emotion and motivation on human behaviour.
E - terms like 'encoding', 'storage' and 'retrieval' are borrowed directly from the field of computing, emotion and motivation irrelevant to a computer, fail to tell us why certain behaviours take place.
E - doesn't consider the fact that computers don't make mistakes, don't ignore availed info or forget anything that's been stored on their hard drive, aren't influenced by emotions, humans do all of these!
L - computer models are not an accurate representation of the human mind, should be treated with caution.
