    - - God is outside the realm of time
      - "no start" and "no end" are flawed understandings
        
        The concept of God is not compatible with concepts within physics: time, space, location
        
        God doesn't exist/fail toexist in any time/space/location

        Role of mountains in relation to 'shaking'
        
        Geology says
        
        For a world without mountains to naturally occur, you'd have to have no plate tectonics. This would require either:
        a) the absence of a moon or
        b) the moon to be tidally locked
        
        Absence of a moon would be disastrous
        
        Moon being tidally locked would mean erosion would eventually level land with the sea bed - we'd all be under water
        
        Without mountains, the Earth would experience huge tremors as the lava from below the Earth's crust would rise up unopposed
        
        World without wind
        
        No seed dispersal for plant reproduction
        
        Weathers would become extreme, the equator would be immensely hot while the poles would freeze over
        
        Immense heat reminiscent of hellfire, what would be required for there to be no wind?

    - - Shaykh Husayn Ansariyan says the reason for replacing 'Ya Allah' with 'Allahumma' (they both have the same meaning) is a nod towards the tawheed of Allah. By removing the 'Ya' from in front of Allah's name we are reminded that the Allah is before the entirety creation.
        
        To say 'before' is an incorrect description but we can only use the language we have while in our minds we understand concepts of tawheed that we're unable to verbalise.
    - - Usually, you'd expect "I ask you" to be followed by a request. In this instance we're reminded to acknowledge who we are asking from
      - 'envelops' = surrounds. Almost a suffocating feeling from the word
        
        When we think of God as an enveloping presence we think of 'laa yumkinul firaar' or of him constant watching us and hearing our words as a negative. We can't escape his punishment.
        In this, our lowest moment (reference: 'innee' branch) he wants us to remember himself by his mercy which we cannot escape.
        You can't escape God's love and care
      - 'Everything' = Kullo Shay'
        
        Gives me a sense of perspective - I am simply one tiny presence amongst kullo shay'.
        Everytihng in creation is under the mercy of Allah. All manner of creation turns to him and him alone for help - this request for help from me is one of billions of Duas that he receives in every moment.
        
        Knowing that Allah holds a personal relationship with each individual facet of creation is immense. If the Queen had a personal relationship with me you'd be surprised as she's such an esteemed presence - this is Allah, lord of all the worlds, who holds a relationship of complete understanding and love with each and every one of us.

        That means we have more knowledge than we realise - how can we tap into that?
        
        In one place in the Quran Allah says "Is the one with knowledge equal to the one without knowledge?"
        That could be a reference to this subconscious knowledge
        
        How much Quranic knowledge is innate?

      - Immediately after the blessing of creation, Allah says he taught man eloquence

        We communicate in more ways than just language - animals have their own language too. What's different about ours?
        
        This is interesting - The Quran is spoken by us. Here though, the ability to speak is separate from Quran. So there's more to Quran than just the words we speak - it's knowledge seated deep within us
