Macro Teaching Procedures (Before, During, After)
- Before Teaching (Teaching Preparation) : Teachers must organise and prepare a thorough and good teaching preparation before implementing a macro teaching session.
- During Teaching (Teaching Implementation) : Teachers must create a good set of teaching inductions to capture students' attention and interest to the teaching to be delivered and enhance learning when conducting this macro teaching.
- After Teaching (Macro Session Reflection) : The teacher must make a self-assessment as a reflection or reflection on the teacher's instruction once the teaching session is over.
Macro-teaching abilities
- Induction set skills : The manner a teacher begins his or her teaching and learning sessions is referred to as induction set skills.
- Illuminating skills (examples, illustrations, teaching and learning resources) : Illuminating skills have several goals, including presenting lesson content clearly and systematically, assisting students in making more correct assumptions about topics learnt, increasing students' concentration on the lesson, and providing a presumably real experience.
- Ability to ask pointed questions : Questioning is one of the simplest and most effective ways for teachers to gain feedback on their students' knowledge of what they're learning.
- Stimulus variety abilities : Teachers use a variety of teaching methods to keep pupils interested and focused on what they are studying. Primary school students have a short period of attention (between 15-20 minutes).
- Reinforcement skills : Any effect that encourages or increases the frequency of a behaviour is known as reinforcement.
- Closing techniques : Closing abilities refer to the ability to focus all of one's attention on completing a task or teaching and learning activity. The teacher creates a lesson plan and takes steps to ensure that pupils understand and connect what they've learned.
