The Number Line
A number line can be defined as straight line with numbers placed at equal intervals or segments along its length.A number can be extended infinitely in any direction and is usually represented horizontally.

The slope is eighter equal to the angle of tangent OR if tangent is acute it's value is positive(+), if tangent is obsute it's value negative(-)

If the line is parallel to the x-axis(vertical),then the slope is zero; if the line is parallel to the y axis (horizontal) then the slope is undefined
