French Revolution
-
Napoleon Bonaparte
Napoleon was a general who integrated the French army into a fighting force and from 1795 to 1815 defeated other European armies in 20 years. The terror will end in July 1795, and his response replaces the Jacobins and leads Robespierre himself to the guillotine.
Napoleon was defeated by the combined armies of Great Britain, Prussia and Austria. After that, the kings decided to restore the old regime at the so-called Congress of Vienna, which was the same as the dynasty on the throne and ceased to conform to liberal ideas.
The autocratic monarchy successfully regained power three times: after the defeat of Napoleon and after the revolutions of 1820 and 1830.
In the 18th century, inequality in the distribution of wealth and power among the three countries or classes of French society became more acute. The third or first tier state lacked privileges and had to pay taxes.
The ideas of the bourgeoisie maintained a movement in which they did not believe that any God had a power, they decided that the sovereign was the people and realized the three powers: Executive, Legislative and Judicial.
The Age of Revolutions had its period from 1770 to 1820, a revolution produces a people's violence towards power and political systems.
In the 1780s, a series of bad harvests caused prices to rise, especially the price of bread, a situation that worsened in the 1780s.
