Types of people
Perfectly intrinsically motivated: enjoy activity & will work for it the whole time period wout need for extrinsic reward to keep at it
Perfectly extrinsically motivated: find task uninteresting & will only work on it if forced to thru promise of extrinsic reward
Imperfectly intrinsically motivated: enjoy task for a while but not for whole time that is allocated to it. After which, extrinsic reward to required to continue
