execution of the royal family 17th July 1918 - reds killed the family in an attrempt to destroy the whites morale
Fanya Kaplan shoots Lenin 30th August 1918 - leads to the Red Terror where the they used their secret police to arrest suspected opponents - 300,000 people were killed
Eastern Russian Offensive - 18th November 1918 - Admiral Kolchak lead the army 800km away from the Moscow spit due to disagreement
Yudenich and Denkin advance - October 1920 - closest the whites ever get to winning but Trotsky launch a counter - attack
Tambov uprisings - August 1920 - Bolsheviks increase grain tax and uprisings took place - 70,000 troops defended the area from the reds - when whites were defeated 100.000 troops were sent to kill peasants
Battle of Perekop 7-15 November - the Red Army defeated the White Army led by General Wrangle in the final battle of the civil war
