At the beginning of the 20th century, the giant European powers competed for dominance over the group of nations, for colonial expansion, and for financial control of the entire world.

THE BALKANS REVOLUTION
At the beginning of 20th century, the great European powers were
in competition for the continent’s dominance In 1882 Chancellor Bismarck formed the so-called "Central Powers", formed by Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy.
Because of the Central Powers, Great Britain, France and Russia
formed “Allied Powers”.
They built giant warships, cannons, machine guns, airships, and other war assets. Nations were given ways to disrespect the covenants and preserve the arms race.
Located southeast of the European Continent, it was a place of tensions wars
and conflicts because it was the door to the East.
The spark that ignited the First World War was lit in Sarajevo, Bosnia, where Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the Austro-Hungarian Empire, has been shot and killed along with his wife, by the
Russia, France, Great Britain and Serbia had aligned themselves against Austria-Hungary and Germany and had started the First World War. In this war, trucks, Huge caliber guns, hot air balloons and aircraft were used for the first time.
When fighting broke out in 1914, the USA prevailed on the fringes of the World War. I, adopting the policy of neutrality favored by President Woodrow Wilson while continuing to

8. PARIS CONFERENCE
Germany, Austria-Hungary, Turkey and the rest of the allies, asked for harmony (suspension
of agreed hostilities) in November 1918.
