First Fleet: The First Fleet was a fleet of 11 ships that brought the first European settlers to Australia. It was made up of two Royal Navy vessels, three store ships and six convict transports.
Urbanisation: Urbanisation means an increase in the proportion of people living in urban areas compared to rural areas.
Aborigines: Aboriginal Australians comprise many distinct peoples who have developed across Australia for over 50,000 years.

Legislative council created, members not elected but worthy citizens asked to serve in the assembly to advice governors

Van Diemen’s Land to operate as a separate colony (in practice already occurred) and a legislative council and supreme court to operate there too
Unlimited powers of the Governors were restricted by more frequent communication and interventions from London by the requirement to formally consult the free citizens of the colony.
