I've chosen this tutorial as part of my research because it focuses on modeling characters that resemble real humanoids, which I struggle with momentarily. This would be a great source of experimental research given it will help me vastly with enhancing my skills, however the video itself is too lengthy, meaning I will have to watch different parts at separate times.

This tutorial is more or less focusing on the precise side of 3D modelling, such as the minor details that would make an object so much more realistic that it even looks like their real life counterpart. One flaw of this specific video is that only one object is displayed, however I could dig in deeper into the channel's content.

This tutorial would come in handy with my visual effects work I'm planning to do for one of my final products; the Photoshop poster. I'm planning to add highlights on specific character I created, give them a story so that the art would make more sense thus giving me a general idea of what type of art I should do (e.g. aesthetical art), and most importantly visual effects and photo manipulation to give the whole image more life and purpose, as well as respecting the fantasy-esque theme I have in mind.

This is an interview with an employee that works in the movie industry. His attributes are CGI hence why the interview revolves around 3D modeling. A great source of knowledge although shorter compared to the interviews prior this one.

This interview is presented through a raw footage from an hour long livestream where the interviewer and interviewee would occasionally answer the viewers' questions throughout the interview and give them guidance. Despite all this however, it's more of a guide to 3D artist job interviews
Historical experiences
Metal Gear Solid is more or less a successor to Half-Life in terms of the mechanics used, but with a greater step up. Although the models look worse quality wise, the work put in the animations and the overall mechanics would've surpassed Half-Life's by a long shot, from CQC (in-game combat technique) and different stealth animations to trick the opposing force, to eating food and moving around in cardboard boxes.
3D Art Essentials: The Fundamentals of 3D Modeling, Texturing, and Animation is the oldest book I could find regarding 3D modelling (2011).
Battlezone 1980 is the first ever game to have 3D models. This game is not advanced whatsoever, the models look unfinished (that is the point given it's supposed to be some sort of a simulation, like the Matrix [as proven in the remastered version])
