T'Challa offers Peter refuge in Wakanda and Peter asks for him to keep a watchful eye on May so that when his identity is revealed, she can't be targeted

Peter overhears plans to break the Ex-Vengers out of The Raft.
Steve and Peter take some space apart and Steve realises that Peter is right. He relents and tells Peter, but he tells him he'll only allow him to come if he undergoes training with the Dora Milaje and himself.
Peter spends 2 months training while they prepare the breakout
The breakout at The Raft is a dirty affair, and on the way out, Peter suffers multiple GSWs to the abdomen whilst protecting Clint and Wanda.
Peter is out of commission for four weeks, due to his advanced healing factor.
The beginning of a friendship with the Ex-Vengers
Becomes one of the Ex-Vengers and helps take down Hydra, which turns out to include Ross.

Eventually Natasha helps him train and they develop a friendly relationship because of it.
Peter tells Steve that he's going to help, but Steve argues against it. Peter says if Steve doesn't let him help out, he's no better than Stark or Ross
Argument is cut short when Natasha arrives bloodied up, and bleeding out from a gunshot wound.
