Look for an example of an artist who was inspired by a piece of writing, specifically classical literature
Find an artist who was inspired by a comic book or graphic novel written since 1945
What conclusions can you draw from comparing art inspired by classical literature to that inspired by more modern storytelling?

Pick something new to read that will take at least a week to work through, you may read several related pieces of writing, and you are encouraged to do so!
Crafting New Ideas
What ideas for art pieces are rolling around in your head right now?
Make a mindmap with at least 5 branches for 3 unique ideas for art pieces
Share your ideas with your group and add their feedback to your mindmaps as new branches.
You will pick one idea to present to the class for another round of feedback
*After receiving class feedback you will set out to bring your idea to life! You will have 2 weeks to complete your project and present it to the class for critique and reflection!
Your idea should be inspired in large part by what you choose to read! You will have to demonstrate how the reading selections led to your thoughts, ideas, and finished project!!!
