Elizabeth I (1533-1603)
She was also a scholar of philosophy, arithmetic, theology and rhetoric.
She knew several languages such as Spanish, English, Greek, French, German, Latin and Hebrew
Called the Virgin Queen because she never wanted to get married. She did this because she did not want a man to take over her country and because of this she died without an heir.
Life
She was much appreciated by the people for her way of ruling. She defeated the great Spanish army and tried to keep England out of the war, thus creating a period of peace.
Elizabeth toudor (Elizabeth 1) She was born in England in 1533, to Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, and ascended the throne in 1558.

She was a very intelligent person, with a lot of culture, who cherished her very regal and majestic personality.
She was known to be very likeable, in fact her character was known as bess.
Propaganda.
Elizabeth I used her image on many objects, including coins and portraits, as a propaganda tool. In the pictures in which she is depicted, we are struck by her majesty, and her power, which is intended to express a sense of the strength of her reign but at the same time of unity and peace. This propaganda was also intended to create admiration for her subjects and fear for her opponents.
However, she was also remembered as a tolerant queen, in fact she was tolerant of other religions, as she believed that religion was something personal and therefore could not be punished.
Internal politics in England
In 1559 she enacted the Act of Uniformity, a law that made it compulsory to use the Book of Common Prayers for religious services,
His reign was considered England's golden age. During this period England experienced an intense phase of economic and cultural development due to the peaceful coexistence of Anglican and Catholic Puritans.

In 1588 she imprisoned her cousin Mary (Queen of Scots, who was also a Christian) fearing that she would take power and become Queen of England. Finally in 1587 Elizabeth ordered the beheading of her cousin.
