Following the news that Polyneices, Antigone's brother, is dead, Antigone feels loss, grief, and anger. Her uncle and now leader Creon, prohibited proper burial for Polyneices due to his betrayal to their country. Upon finding this out, Antigone pleads her sister for help in burying their brother but her sister refuses to help. Antigone buries her brother but is discovered, eventually ending her own life later once captured.
