EVENTS & FESTIVALS : The Super First Year Student competition is a unique project by the PSU student union. It provides an opportunity for all the freshers to experience a variety of a students’ life joys and challenges – including creative tasks, sports, journalism, project work and intellectual activities.
Five fresher teams compete at each of the 12 faculties. Then they all participate in various competitions to win different prizes. However, the Super First Year Student competition is not bound to just one specific university. On the contrary, the event then escalates to intercollegiate level, where teams are formed by the students of every university in Perm.
The A. G. Genkel Botanical Garden of Perm University is the oldest botanical garden in the Urals, which has one of the largest collections of plants of open and closed ground. It is one of the ten largest living plant collections in the country and has the largest collection of citrus species and varieties in Russia.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES
In the University there are three forms of higher education specialist training:
Undergraduate Bachelor Programmes (4 years of full-time education, 4.6 years or 5 years of part time education).
Undergraduate Master Programmes on the base of Bachelor programme or Specialist programme (2 years of full-time education, 2.5 years of part time education).
Postgraduate Doctoral Programmes (3 years or 4 years of full-time education).
