        German class: I started giving student assignments with lesser vocabulary expectations. Oral assessments and role plays were based on scripts and written assessment had a simpler rubric
        
        K's performance vacillated depending on his emotional health. In 1:1 sessions he delivered results but his overall performance remained below the average and below the benchmarks needed to pass the test
        
        K is now enrolled in Edmentum which is a electronic forum for world languages and his progress is monitored by me. He still displays lack of motivation and focus.
