GRAVITY AND MOVEMENT - Coggle Diagram
GRAVITY AND MOVEMENT
-
UP AND DOWN
- The force of gravity makes an object fall to the ground
- If nothing interrupts the force, the speed of the object continues to increase
- The higher the place from where the object is dropped, the faster the speed of the falling object
If you throw the object UP IN THE AIR, the movement is different:
-
- The object looses speed until it stops at the highest point
- Gravity makes the object start to fall, and it speeds up until it hits the ground
THROWING OBJECTS
- We throw an object using FORCE
- This force pushes the ball FORWARDS
- The force applies SPEED to it
- Gravity pushes the object DOWNWARDS faster and faster
5.The result of these two movements FORWARDS and DOWNWARDS makes the object move in a CURVED DIRECTION
